Welcome to A.I. Pet ("we," "us," "our," or "the Service"). By accessing or using our website at pet.altech.hk and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and the operators of A.I. Pet ("we," "us," or "our").
A.I. Pet is an online platform based in Hong Kong that enables users to create, customize, and interact with artificially intelligent virtual pet companions powered by large language model (LLM) technology. The Service includes:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect your purchased credits.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms and accepts responsibility for your use of the Service.
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account and keep your account credentials secure. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Upon successful registration, your account is automatically approved and you are logged in immediately. You will receive 50 free credits as a welcome bonus, which can be used to create your first AI pet companion. No admin screening or waiting period is required.
A.I. Pet uses a credit-based system for certain actions. Credits are a virtual currency used within the platform and have no cash value outside the Service. Credits are deducted from your account balance when you perform actions such as creating pets or regenerating avatars.
All credit purchases are non-refundable. Once credits are purchased and added to your account, they cannot be refunded, exchanged, or converted back to cash. However, if pet creation, avatar regeneration, photo generation, or a mini-game round fails due to a technical error on our end, the deducted credits will be automatically refunded to your account. Credits are non-refundable for successfully completed actions. Please review our Refund Policy for full details.
You can purchase credits in the following packs:
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our payment processor. By purchasing credits, you authorize Stripe to charge your designated payment method for the applicable amount. Stripe handles all payment card information in accordance with PCI DSS requirements. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
Upon successful payment, credits are automatically added to your account. You will receive a confirmation notification on your Dashboard. If credits are not added within 5 minutes of payment, please contact us at cs@altech.hk with your payment receipt.
We may change our credit pack pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice via email before any price increase takes effect. Credits already purchased will not be affected by price changes.
The Service generates content using artificial intelligence, including pet companion responses, avatar images, and auto-generated backstories. You acknowledge that:

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in account suspension or termination, and we may report unlawful activities to relevant authorities.
The Service, including its design, software, features, and underlying technology, is owned by A.I. Pet and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.
Content generated by AI companions (including text, images, and personality configurations) is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell, transfer, or commercially exploit AI-generated content without a separate commercial license.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (such as custom prompts, personality descriptions, or backstories). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI companions may produce inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected responses.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, A.I. Pet and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $400, whichever is greater.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at cs@altech.hk. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we believe your conduct harms the Service or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law. Unused credits are forfeited upon account termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Hong Kong in accordance with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and, where appropriate, sending an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
