Step 2: Choose a Pre-Made Companion

The fastest way to start chatting is to choose one of our pre-made companions. Chi Chi is a friendly, cute 2-year-old dog who loves making new friends. Ma Fan Jai is a 2-year-old cat who is famously grumpy and claims to hate everyone. Both companions offer a full conversation experience and showcase the range of personalities available on the platform.

If you prefer to create your own custom companion, register for an account first. The 50-credit welcome balance can be applied to your first custom pet, and the dashboard lets you manage the companion you create.

Step 3: Start Chatting

Once you have selected or created a companion, simply start typing. Introduce yourself, ask a question, or share something about your day. Your AI pet responds in character, using its personality and recent shared context to make the conversation feel more connected. Each sent chat message costs 1 credit.

After registering, you receive 50 welcome credits, which cover the 50-credit cost of creating your first AI pet companion. You can purchase additional credits from $49 for 50 credits or choose a custom amount when you need them.

Make the Conversation Feel More Natural

Start with an everyday detail rather than trying to write a perfect prompt. You might mention the weather, share a small win, describe a meal, ask what the pet would do on a lazy afternoon, or invite it into a short story. The more concrete your message is, the easier it is for the companion to answer in a way that reflects its selected personality. A curious pet may ask a focused follow-up, while a playful pet may add a little humour or imagination.

A.I. Pet uses a compact window of recent messages in the active conversation so the pet can follow the immediate topic. This can make a chat feel more continuous when you refer to something said a few messages ago. It is not a promise that the pet permanently remembers every detail from every past conversation, so do not rely on it to store important information or make decisions for you.

If the tone is not what you expected, try adding a detail that connects to the companion's backstory or start a fresh topic. The personality tags and backstory chosen during creation shape the pet's style, but generated replies can vary. Exploring different character combinations is part of the creative experience; it is not a guarantee of emotional understanding, professional expertise, or real-world awareness.

Try Optional Pet Interactions When You Want To

Text chat is the main way to talk with an AI pet, but you can also choose optional interactions in the product when they fit the moment. A chat message that asks to see the pet may offer a scene-based photo request. The photo flow shows the chosen scene and the current credit cost before generation. The generated image is designed to use the saved pet appearance as a reference, while changing the pose, expression, or setting.

After a generated photo appears, a compatible browser can offer a user-triggered Hear control for a brief in-character reaction. This is browser speech playback, not a recorded voice message or a phone call, and it does not add a separate charge beyond the photo you chose to generate. Pet Gifts are another optional in-chat interaction and display their own credit price before confirmation.

Choose optional actions because they add something you enjoy, not because the conversation requires them. You can stay with text chat, create a photo, send a gift, or return to the Dashboard to manage your pets and credit balance. The product shows credit costs in context so you can decide before a paid action is completed.

Keep Your Chat Private and Use It With Care

Do not send passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, account recovery codes, or other highly sensitive personal data in an AI pet conversation. A.I. Pet's account and privacy information is described in its published Privacy Policy.
