Step 1: Register an Account
Before you can create an AI friend, register for an A.I. Pet account with your username, email, password, and optional display name. Registration is automatically approved, and you are signed in after it succeeds. New users receive 50 welcome credits.
From your dashboard, you can create and manage your AI companions. If you already have an account, simply log in and proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Choose a Pre-Made Companion or Start Custom
A.I. Pet offers two ways to get started. The fastest option is to choose a pre-made companion. We currently offer Chi Chi, a friendly and cute 2-year-old dog who loves making new friends, and Ma Fan Jai, a 2-year-old cat who is famously grumpy and claims to hate everyone. Pre-made companions are ready to chat immediately and are a great way to experience the platform.
If you want something more personal, you can create a custom companion from scratch. This gives you full control over your AI friend's identity. You can choose any type of pet, give it a unique name, write a backstory, and define personality traits that will shape how it responds in conversation.
Step 3: Design Your Companion's Personality
The personality you choose for your AI friend determines how it responds in conversations. Think about what kind of companion you want. Do you want a cheerful, supportive friend who always encourages you? A witty, sarcastic companion who keeps you laughing? Or perhaps a wise, calm presence that helps you reflect? The possibilities are endless.
When designing your companion, consider its backstory. Where did it come from? What are its favorite things? What are its quirks? The more detail you provide, the richer your companion's responses will be. A.I. Pet uses this information to shape every message your pet sends, making each conversation feel authentic to the character you created.
Step 4: Start Your First Conversation
Once your companion is ready, it is time to start chatting. New users receive 50 free credits, so you can experience the platform without any commitment. Simply type a message and your AI pet will respond in character. Try greeting your companion, asking about its day, or sharing something about yourself.
The more you chat, the more your companion develops. It will remember details from your conversations and reference them later, creating a sense of an ongoing relationship. Over time, you will notice your AI friend becoming more attuned to your communication style and preferences.
Step 5: Choose a Pricing Plan
After registering, you receive 50 welcome credits. You can purchase additional credits anytime: $49 for 50 credits (Starter), $198 for 200 credits (Popular), or a custom amount. Current credit costs include 50 credits to create a pet, 20 to regenerate an avatar, 1 per chat message, and 10 per generated pet photo.
