A Short Voice Moment After a Pet Photo
A.I. Pet includes a Pet Voice Moment for generated photo messages. After a pet photo appears in chat, you can select the Hear control to play a short, scene-based reaction written in the pet's character. It is an optional layer of expression after the visual moment rather than a replacement for text chat.
The control is deliberately user-triggered. You decide when playback starts or stops, which keeps chat quiet by default and gives you control over the experience in a shared space or on a mobile device.
How the Current Voice Moment Works
The Pet Voice Moment uses the browser's built-in speech-synthesis capability to read the short reaction aloud. No audio file is generated or stored by A.I. Pet for this feature, and invoking playback does not send a separate voice request to the server.
The available voice and sound can differ by browser, operating system, and local device settings. If a browser does not support speech synthesis, the written photo reaction remains available in the conversation.
In-Character Reactions Without a Separate Voice Profile
The spoken line is based on the pet's name and the scene selected for its photo. The pet's established tone still comes from its created personality, backstory, and the conversation around the image.
The current feature does not create a permanent custom voice, accept recorded voice messages, or make an audio call. Keeping the experience lightweight avoids extra waiting time and makes the control available immediately after a photo is delivered.
Voice Moment and Credit Usage
The Hear control itself does not add a credit charge. A standard pet photo costs 10 credits when you choose to generate it; hearing the short follow-up reaction uses the device's browser capability without another paid action.
Text chat remains the main conversation flow and costs 1 credit per sent message. Current costs are shown in the product interface and may be reviewed before you make a credit purchase.
Try the Voice Moment
Create or open a pet conversation, request a photo, select a scene, and wait for the generated image to appear. The message includes a Hear control when the browser supports it. You can stop playback at any time.
This feature is meant to add a small, optional moment of personality after an image. It does not change the way your pet chat works or require a separate audio account or voice subscription.
